  I was in the flooring department in Gatineau. The female associate was very great at seeing my requirements and working with my ideas and seeing that I get the supplies I needed to get job done without having to run back and forth.

  Last but not least, the fellow helping me noticed that I was buying the wrong type of sandpaper for my orbital sander (I had picked up adhesive backed pads when I needed velcro) and walked me over to the department to show me the right ones even though he didn't work in the hardware section. Way to make a repeat customer Claude.

  Staff are friendly although you still get the ping-pong approach when staff are unsure where and item is or if its in stock.

  Took the chainsaw home and about 2 hours into the job, the chain came off. Brought the product back to the rental department and they fixed the problem, replaced the old chain with a completely new one, reset my rental time, and topped up my gas can. This put the return time past 5 o'clock when they close, and they allowed me to return it the next morning by 9AM. Very impressed with the service and will be returning for more tools as I know if there is a problem that I won't be left high and dry.

  Recently used a 20" chainsaw from the tool rental department for a small job cutting up some old wood that was laying around my property. When I first got there on a Sunday, the fellow helping me Claude took the time to explain a number different options, and when I finally decided on which to go for, took more time to explain a number of tricks and tips for safe use. He even gave me an English and French copy of the tool catalogue as I mentioned I was trying to learn French.
